Frank Ocean Comes Out Of The Closet

Rumors had been swirling around for a while and the man set to release his album Channel Orange a few weeks from now has decided to break it to the public on his own terms: Frank Ocean felll in love with a man once. In a story on his Tumblr he dtails how he had various relationships with women that never went as depp as this and he was forced to admit to himself he was in love.

It’s an eloquent letter and Frank gets a tip of the hat for being one of the few big names in our field of entertainment to be open about his sexual orientation. Not that is should be an issue in any way and is anything but a private matter, but if this can empower people struggling with the same things and inspire them to feel better about themselves, we can’t do anything but give the man a round applause. Cheers Frank, looking forward to ya album wether you’ll be singing about men or women.
