Snoop dropped a special announcement on 4/20 this year about his upcoming album entitled Reincarnated. The video (that you can see below), soundtracked by The Abyssinians’ ‘Satta Amassa Ghana,’ hinted at an unusual recording location and new sound for the Long Beach rap star. A reggae record doesn’t seem that farfetched or out of character for Snoop though, as his flow has always been of the more smooth and melodic variety. The first result is ‘La La La’ and it meshes well with the roots reggae vibe Diplo, in the guise of Major Lazer, who produced the track, has going on here. Dope!
