There is no end for certain trends in the realm of pop culture. When you think there is no more ground for it to cover, when there is nothing left to sustain it, and its ubiquity is starting to tear at your sanity like that Carlie Rae Jepsen song, not even death can stop it. It finds new corners of media, eats its way into different subcultures and genres and rises from its grave, never resting, only grown in numbers and hunger, to form an unstoppable army of rotting carcasses until their stink covers all that is.

ZOMBIES.

When you think you’ve seen everything done with ‘em, Elucid goes back to George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead, the blueprint for the genre and re-cuts it into a video for his pulsating track ‘Braking For Zombies.’ Peep Super Chocolate Black Simian, the project it came from below. “No idea’s original” but that don’t mean it can’t be good. Plays this with the lights down.
