This is Peaches. Peaches is a self-professed prostitute in Houston. In an interview with Fox 26 reporter Isiah Carey, she explains the vagaries of her profession, namely pricing, clientele, cops.
Peaches tells Isiah that the Bissonnet/59 area is her territory. I lived in the Bissonet area for six months and I’ve definitely seen Peaches and friends strutting down the sidewalk a few times. If any of you ever decide to come in live in Houston and a friend recommends Bissonnet/59, end that friendship immediately. It’s one of the shittier parts of Southwest Houston.
Back to Peaches. Glancing over her shoulder, she explains that it’s hard out here for a hoe. Some known issues she’s encountered as a prostitute include but are not limited to:
- “Guys not wanting to pay”
- “Guys not wanting to pay the amount they’re supposed to pay”
- “Guys paying and wanting to take their money back”
- Rapes
Peaches says she’s managed to go rape-free so far. Her black eye is noticeable. Oh, and those pesky cops parading the streets. Peaches pretty much only deals with “regulars” to avoid walking into an undercover trap.
Peaches is a busy professional. In fact, she was on “date” while the camera crew was filming (not shown, sorry). A $20 jack-off, she confirms. “He’s fairly quick,” she adds.
