What you get is what you see / And you won't see me out there advertising

And according to this report on Okayplayer MCA has made sure that will forever remain so. The Beastie Boy that passed away earlier this year due to cancer in his salivary glands protects his artistic integrity even from the afterlife.

Yauch’s will, which was filed Tuesday in Manhattan Surrogate Court, specifically prohibits the use of his image, music, and other art in any advertising. Yauch’s will also states that his $6.4 million estate is to be put into a trust for his wife, Dechen Yauch, and 13-year-old daughter. The will also gives Dechen the right to sell and manage Yauch’s artistic property.

It’s already been proven to not be an overzealous measure as Monster Energy drik has already decided to sell their caffeinated piss ridind the Beastie name without their consent. They can now pool their energy to prepare for a nice little lawsuit.

Below is a live rendition of ‘Triple Trouble,’ the song from To The Five Boroughs the above quote is pulled from.

1982 was when Jaap van der Doelen aka J.Monkey shot his way out his mom dukes. A mere two years later he was already battling Big Brother and The Illuminati. Whenever he has time to spare from those efforts he writes (about music, mostly), hosts a radio show and designs graphics for a living. He lives in The Netherlands where he continues to be winning.
