Over the last year Collision Records has been quietly building a brand by expanding its roster with talented and thoughtful artists who are introduced to listeners with a string of album-quality free releases. Often, the projects are punctuated by beats from Wit – the rising producer (Hell’s Paradise, Church Clothes, Gravity) who doubles as the label’s A&R.

The latest is Body Art by Christon Gray – a singer/MC who sounds like a lovely mix of Common, Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino, and Stevie Wonder. It also includes three instrumentals from the album.
