It took a little bit, but the video for DJ DMD’s Christian remake of his own 3rd Coast classic is finally here.
It features Bizzle and Jarrod Phillips and was directed by fellow Port Arthurian* Mr. Boomtown who has shot clips for Bun B, David Banner, and Slim Thug.
It also comes after a summer where Rick Rubin got ZZ Top to reinterpret the title for the Battleship movie soundtrack and everyone from 2 Chainz to Kendrick Lamar has mentioned the song in their rhymes.
It’s a good time to be DMD.
