Ill Bill can drop some great thugged-out conspiracy-theory rap lashing out at targets as big or bigger than you can imagine and paint a picture of grandiose horror like Clive Barker with a mic, but what sets him apart from many of his peers who spit in a similar vein is his capacity for personal stories and insights. Here he reflects on the lives of his grandmother and his uncle Howie, two people who’s deaths sit heavy on his heart.
