DOOM is making the most of his time exiled in London, as he visited the BBC Radio studios to take over Benji B‘s already consistently excellent show. DOOM isn’t exactly the most candid of rappers and he can be pretty elusive, so it’s cool to hear him sit down and talk with Benji B. The show also plays as greatest hits collection, hitting multiple aliases and eras in his discography including some harder to get remixes and blends, as evidenced by the tracklist below. Apparently this was already broadcast in September last year, but the BBC reran the episode a few days ago, which is how I caught it.
Hip-hop, all day. Or at least part of the day.
Be glad I got a late pass for us if you haven’t heard it yet, this is mandatory listening for both longtime DOOM fans and newcomers alike.
